Bird watching! The nearby Ongoye Forest and Mtunzini area are well known to twitchers.

Take a trip just south to the Amatikulu lagoon – fish, paddle, swim or just north to the Mtunzini lagoon and enjoy an afternoon cruise on a barge.

Fish for bass in a nearby dam (by arrangement)

Enjoy the resident Nguni herd, goats and sheep, the odd piglet, gaggle of geese, horse or two, Border Collie and the early morning crow of a rooster!
